BioFeet® products are available in pharmacies and health shops.

Before opening
Unless otherwise stated on the packaging, our formulations have a proven shelf life of over 30 months. Under these conditions, and in accordance with the Cosmetics Directive, no expiry date is stated.

After opening
We indicate the PAO (period after opening) for each product using a pictogram showing an open bottle, which indicates the recommended period of use. This generally ranges from 3 to 24 months. If you have any queries about a specific product, please check the batch number and contact our technical department.

We comply with the European regulations prohibiting the use of such methods.

With regard to use by pregnant women, the percentage of essential oils used in the products’ formulation is less than 2 per cent, which means the likelihood of them penetrating the skin is minimal.

Provided the skin is intact, the products may be used from the second trimester onwards. However, the condition of the skin must be assessed by a healthcare professional, in this case a Podiatrist.

With regard to the use of essential oils in children up to the age of 5, as well as in pregnant women up to 6 months’ gestation, there is no consensus amongst the sources in the scientific literature.

We always recommend that, if you are considering using our products on children or pregnant women up to 6 months’ gestation, you consult a qualified healthcare professional for personalised advice on the safety and appropriate use of the products.

BioFeet® products are considered safe, as the feet are the area with the lowest absorption capacity compared with other parts of the body, and the percentage of essential oils used in our products is less than 2 per cent.
